Tonkin Drysdale Partners has been an important part of the Central Coast community for over 65 years. As the years and decades pass, our commitment toward that community, its people and institutions grows.
Our History
Tonkin Drysdale Partners was established in Woy Woy in 1958. More than 65 years later, we continue to provide the community with the highest quality legal advice, from the same location and with the same values.
Our founding father was the late Philip Tonkin. His son, Paul, was admitted to our firm’s partnership in 1992, on the same day his dad retired. Paul remains a Managing Partner to this day and has passed down his love of law to his son Dominic. Dominic continues the family legacy and is also a Partner with TDP.
TDP is a family – and that begins within our walls. We demonstrate commitment and loyalty to our staff, so it comes naturally with our clients and community. Each of our Partners have worked with the firm for many years and many of our support staff have been with TDP for over a decade.
Our lawyers and support team are proud locals who come to work each day excited to support others in our community. They are members of local sports clubs, community organisations, and charities. Through these networks and as part of our community values, TDP sponsors and supports a wide range of community organisations on the Central Coast.
