Briden is a family law solicitor who cares about creating a meaningful connection with her clients and understands the journey through family law can be challenging and unpredictable. Briden appreciates that clients experiencing a family separation may find themselves needing legal advice for the first time in their life. Briden guides clients through these uncertain times with her patient manner and strong work ethic.
Briden completed a Bachelor degree of Criminology and Criminal Justice at the University of New South Wales. She then went on to complete a Juris Doctor at Macquarie University. She is admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales and the High Court of Australia.
Prior to joining the TDP team, Briden worked at the National Justice Project and the Central Coast Community Legal Centre. This experience inspired her to practice in family law, particularly after supporting highly vulnerable clients with complex needs. Briden thrives on creating a human approach to family law matters and strongly empathises with the experiences and feelings of her clients.
Briden also previously worked in a senior, client-facing role for Zurich Financial Services. This opportunity contributed to her knowledge of asset accumulation and protection, as well as differing superannuation structures and she brings these skills in her application to how these are dealt with under the Family Law Act.
Briden is confident and personable in delivering practical legal advice that is balanced and considered. She advises on property, parenting and divorce matters, and encourages alternative dispute resolution processes if possible to ensure her client is involved in the decision making in preference to a Court ordered determination.
Briden grew up on the Central Coast before moving to Sydney to complete her tertiary education. She has since moved back and when not in the office you can find her at book club or catching the sunset at one of our beautiful beaches.
